Booklicious: On the Road, Without Words

I think I'll introduce this article with the same phrase I said to my friend Matt when he posted this to my Facebook wall: this is insane

Designer Stefanie Posavec has taken Jack Kerouac's On the Road and transformed — perhaps translated is a better word — the book into a highly involved diagram that details the length and topic of each and every sentence of the work. It seems like madness, right? But the result is beautiful, fascinating, and absolutely awesome, in the non-teenage sense of the word. Do yourself a favor — scrape together a few minutes and read more about the project here. Posavec has more lovely work to browse on her website — she has a Penguin Classic cover to her name, among other titles, and if you're a fan of The Sartorialist, you may already know her from her work with Scott on his book.
