I haven't taken a proper bath —in a proper tub, one that lets you stretch out and be covered up to your neck — in so long that I can't remember when it last was. So when I saw this enormous, sleek bathtub that was also thoughtfully designed with bookshelves — well, it just about ticks all my boxes. (Let's not go into the price aspect — that's just sure to spoil my daydream.)
This is the Thais Art bathtub from Italian bathroom-design company BluBleu; it comes with whirlpool controls, headrests, air jets, cushions, all that jazz — and the shelving comes in two finishes, wenge and teak. And just in case that shelf space is looking a bit skimpy, BluBleu allows you to customize the capacity. Yum. More photos and specs available here.
