Trailer for The Raven Released

The trailer for The Raven, starring John Cusack as Poe, was just released. I'm surprised by how gruesome it looks — I guess they decided a movie focused on Poe and his dark tales should err on the side of macabre. It makes sense, though all I can see is Saw meets The Dante Club.

I'm placing my bet on the inspector being the baddie, by the way, though I hope the movie turns out to be less predictable than the trailer makes it appear. Thoughts?
