Booklicious: Bookcase Wednesday

The terrible thing about books is that you always want more. And unless you have the wealth of J.P. Morgan and can create a legendary library, odds are you're going to run out of wall space.

Enter the Babel bookcase. Designed by Mario Mazzer and produced by Bonaldo, this quirky bookcase makes the most of those nooks and crannies traditional bookcases can't fit into. It's made from molded polyethylene, which means it can also be stuck outside without fear of damage (not that the same can be said for the books on it). I'm guessing the polyethylene also makes it a great deal lighter than wood, which makes shifting it around a lot easier. Pricing starts at £665 from Chaplins. You can read more specs from Bonaldo here.

Materials: Molded polyethylene; available in white, grey, blue, and red
Measurements: 20"D x 20"W x 71"H, 20" diameter
