This shelving isn't everyone's cup of tea, being pretty industrial, but regardless of your tastes I think you have to admit it's still impressive (and just think how huge that room must be!). That ladder, though, is just a bit too railing-like for me. It really reminds me of the ladders you climb on to reach out-of-reach products at Home Depot and Lowe's.

That's precisely my thoughts when I looked at that ladder. Yikes! Although, a space big enough for that many books can't be all bad ...
If you look at how it hangs, you can see something interesting. It actually is on a railing, and I'll wager it slides across the whole front of the shelving.
Still, it's a bit industrial for my tastes, as well. I can also see myself using it improperly as a ramp, etc.
