Umbra is one of those design companies that knows how to have fun. Take this Biblioteca bookcase, for example. Designer Matt Carr, the brains behind the piece, produced the first iteration of this look when he created a bookrack for his own home using two vintage coffee tables. I love that he and Umbra (whose products are sold in Target, a middle-class company if there ever was one) weren't afraid to challenge their customers and mass-produce a bookcase that looks as though it stepped straight out of Wonderland.
